Business Intelligence Reporting - Senior Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marsh Technology team, part of our risk business at Marsh. This role will be based in Cluj-Napoca . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office .

You will join a collaborative technology environment where data, analytics, and business insight play a key role in enabling better decisions and stronger outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong BI and data engineering capabilities with a consultative mindset and enjoys translating business needs into scalable, high-quality data solutions.

We will count on you to:

• Design efficient and effective data models that support reporting, analytics, and business insight needs.

• Develop and implement data transformations using SQL and TimeXtender , ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance.

• Analyze data structures and interpret data to provide meaningful insights that support business decision-making.

• Create dashboards and reports in Qlik and Power BI to communicate complex information in a clear and user-friendly way.

• Capture, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical designs that align with stakeholder needs.

• Troubleshoot data and BI issues, optimize performance, and continuously improve processes, tools, and outcomes.

What you need to have:

• Strong analytical skills with proven experience in data modeling , data transformation , and interpreting data to generate insights.

• Hands-on experience with TimeXtender , SQL , and BI/reporting tools such as Qlik and Power BI .

• Ability to capture business requirements and translate them into effective functional and technical solutions.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
