Junior Spot Buyer with French

We are looking for a Junior Spot Buyer to join our GBS Procurement team in Bucharest and play an active role in connecting the right talent and resources with the teams that need them most.

In this role, you will work at the crossroads of internal stakeholders and suppliers. You will source consultants, process purchase requests, and ensure data quality across our tools. Your work will directly support ENGIE's operations across multiple business units.

What You'll Do

- Source consultants through Spot Buy processes based on Group agreements in IT, technical assistance, and functional assistance.

- Process software and equipment purchase requests efficiently and in line with procurement governance.

- Train and support specifiers, answering their enquiries and guiding them through procurement procedures.

- Ensure data quality within the Vendor Management System and define usage policies in collaboration with the VMS Admin team.

- Provide expert analysis and reporting to stakeholders including Category Managers, Global Lines of Business, and Entities.

- Contribute to seasonal renewal campaigns for GBS IT, ENGIE Digital, GEMS, and E&C.

- Collaborate with suppliers and internal customers to deliver a seamless procurement experience.

What You Bring

- A Bachelor's degree in procurement, business, economics, or a related field.

- Interest in or first experience with procurement of intellectual services, software, or materials.

- Knowledge of Vendor Management Systems and basic contractual elements is a plus.

- French at C1 level or above, both written and spoken (mandatory).

- English at B2 level or above, both written and spoken (mandatory).

- Strong communication skills with a customer-centric and service-oriented mindset.

- Critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to apply documented guidance to unique situations.

- A collaborative spirit, flexibility, and resilience in a dynamic environment.
