Chief Digital Engineer

As a Chief Digital Engineer, you will play a key role in developing FPGA-based digital products and instrumentation systems. Based in Cluj-Napoca, you will contribute across the full development lifecycle - from concept and design through validation, sustaining, and manufacturing support.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• • Designing hardware for digital development boards and instrumentation systems.
• • Developing VHDL applications and IP for digital and instrumentation solutions.
• • Researching and evaluating technical solutions to support product development.
• • Testing and validating designs using prototypes and evaluation platforms.
• • Troubleshooting and debugging hardware and digital design challenges.
• • Partnering with software developers and global R&D teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• • Providing technical leadership by guiding design decisions, mentoring team members, and driving best practices across projects.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  Strong knowledge of digital design fundamentals such as state machines, memories, counters, registers, and combinational logic.
  • Expertise in signal integrity and digital timing.
• • Hands-on experience with AMD Vivado , TCL, and GitHub.
  • Strong English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• • Experience with FPGA-based development environments.
• • Exposure to instrumentation products or embedded/digital prototyping platforms.
• • Experience collaborating across hardware and software engineering teams.
