Customer Service Intern Digital Commerce with English, 3 months

In this role, you will support an internal customer re-engagement campaign focused on Emerson's SF Commerce platform. Working with existing customer records and approved outreach processes, you will help customers complete registration and successfully access the platform while ensuring customer information remains secure within Emerson-managed systems. This is an excellent opportunity to develop customer service, communication, and digital engagement skills in a collaborative and innovative environment.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Contact assigned customers by phone using Emerson-approved telephony tools and approved call scripts.
• Support customers with clear first-step guidance for SF Commerce registration and first login, without taking ownership of full end-to-end onboarding or complex technical troubleshooting.
• Confirm whether the contacted person is the right individual for online ordering or digital platform access, and capture referrals when another contact is more appropriate.
• Capture call/s outcome for every processed record, in Salesforce, by including the following dispositions: reached, unreachable, wrong contact, support needed, not interested, opt-out, invalid contact, or already active.
• Record customer feedback in Salesforce fields using concise, factual notes.
• Escalate technical issues, access blockers, customer complaints, privacy concerns, or sensitive account situations according to the agreed escalation process.
• Respect customer contact preferences and immediately flag opt-out or do-not-contact requests.
• Participate in daily check-ins, weekly progress reviews, script refreshers, and quality calibration sessions.
• Work closely with the hiring manager and Customer Service stakeholders to ensure consistent execution.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Student, fresh graduate, or early-career candidate available for a 3 to 4 month temporary assignment.
• Availability to work a fixed shift from 13:30 to 22:00 .
• Strong communication skills suitable for professional customer conversations.
• Ability to conduct professional customer conversations in English; 
• Comfortable making outbound customer calls using a prepared script and adapting the conversation naturally within approved guidance.
• Able to capture accurate notes and update Salesforce fields carefully.
• Patient, polite, structured, and able to handle basic objections or low-engagement responses professionally.
• Basic digital literacy: Outlook, Excel, Teams, browser-based tools, and structured data entry.
• Able to follow confidentiality, data privacy, and information-security instructions strictly.
• Available for agreed working hours aligned to European and selected North American calling windows.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Previous internship, student job, customer service, telemarketing, retail, hospitality, or helpdesk experience.
• Experience working with MS Office.
• Familiarity with CRM/Salesforce systems or e-commerce platforms.
• Additional language capability beyond the primary assigned language.
• Comfort communicating with B2B customers by phone and email.
