Accountant

We are currently looking for an Accountant on behalf of one of our business partners, a well-established company operating in the fashion and retail industry.

This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys taking ownership of day-to-day accounting activities in a dynamic, multi-entity environment. You will be involved in the full accounting cycle, from invoice processing and banking operations to month-end closing and supporting audit activities, while working closely with both local and international finance teams.

Your Responsibilities

• Process purchase and sales invoices, including merchandise, fixed assets and services;

• Manage banking operations, cash transactions and fiscal cash register activities;

• Monitor sales and purchase journals and ensure the accuracy of accounting records;

• Prepare month-end accounting entries, reconcile accounts and validate the trial balance;

• Maintain fixed asset and inventory records;

• Support internal and external audit activities while ensuring compliance with accounting procedures.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or Economics;

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience ;

• Experience working with fiscal cash registers;

• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas, filters);

• Good working knowledge of English;

• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach.

Nice to have:

• Experience in retail or FMCG;

• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage);

• Previous exposure to multi-entity or international accounting environments.
