Operational Security Business Analyst and Reporting (f/m/x)

Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

The role provides critical analysis, governance, and decision support for CSO-Corporate Security’s operational delivery. In addition to traditional business analysis, the role is responsible for driving executive reporting, coordinating cross-regional reporting governance, track operational risks and opportunities as well as vendor management governance framework, and alignment of strategic initiatives. The role will influence decision-making, and deliver insights that directly support business performance, operational excellence, and organisational objectives. The role aligns with the leadership, strategic influence, and enterprise-level responsibilities ensuring the function can demonstrate progress against its objectives and organisational maturity goals.

Responsibilities

• Strategy & Delivery Management - Identify trends, risks and opportunities. Map current and future state processes. Maintain roadmap and track delivery. Coordinate operational initiatives. Monitor milestones, risks, dependencies and support annual planning.

• Performance Management & Measurement - Develop and maintain a measurement framework. Measure operational effectiveness. Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

• Management Information & Reporting - Own monthly MIS reporting and executive performance packs. Coordinate operational data collection and reporting across the operational organisation. Support delivery of Operational Risk Management (ORM).

• Reporting Automation & Data Management - Automate reporting processes where it makes sense. Improve data quality, consistency and reporting efficiency.
• Independent Assessment - Lead the tracking and reporting of actions. Establish measurable success criteria for each recommendation. Monitor implementation progress, provide management visibility and report improvements over time.

Skills

• Management Information & Reporting – strong experience producing executive dashboards, MIS, measurements scorecards and management reporting for senior leadership.
• Tracking & Delivery Management – ability to track non-technical deliverables, monitor milestones, dependencies, risks and action plans.
• Reporting Automation & Data Management – ability to define reporting requirements and work with stakeholders and technology teams to automate reporting, improve data quality and reduce manual effort.
• PowerPoint Expertise – advanced PowerPoint skills with the ability to create high-quality executive presentations, strategy updates and management packs.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication – excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams and engage senior stakeholders.
