UA & Cinematic Video Producer (UE, Blender, AE)

Job Description

(!) This role focuses on video editing, scene composition, lighting, camera work, and UA ad assembly using existing 3D assets. You will not be required to model 3D assets from scratch.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

Main challenges

• Producing engaging video content, such as video trailers for various marketing purposes, to be published across multiple platforms including Google Play, App Store, Microsoft Store, Steam, PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, and more. Additionally, creating video ads tailored for performance channels like Facebook, Google Ads, TikTok, YouTube, and others.
• Designing and/or modifying 3D scenes, models, and animations for use in promotional materials and video ads.
• Will be creating video content for different games, each with its distinct visual and communication style, always with the goal of engaging users and encouraging them to download the game.

What it means on a daily basis

Production:

• Create high-quality video content to enhance marketing efforts and attract new, engaged users for our games.
• Take full ownership of the video production process, from concept development to final delivery.
• Create and/or modify 3D scenes, models, and animations for use in promotional materials and video ads.
• Capture engaging in-game footage directly from the game engine or game build.
• Adapt videos into various formats, ensuring optimization for different platforms and distribution channels. Manage video compression, encoding, and formatting standards for web, social media, and other platforms.
• Enhance overall video quality by incorporating sound effects, music, text, graphics, and other elements.

Communication:

• Incorporate client feedback (lead/internal teams/licensor) and ensure revisions are completed on spec and on time.
• Adapt quickly to feedback from stakeholders, including marketing, legal, and licensing teams, ensuring the final product aligns with requirements.
• Participate in meetings and consistently contribute fresh, creative ideas.
• Provide input into the creative direction for video content, shaping the overall narrative and tone of marketing videos.

Consistency & Guidelines:

• Learn and adhere to artistic, IP, and licensing guidelines.
• Ensure brand consistency across all video materials, maintaining a cohesive visual and narrative style across campaigns and platforms.

Organization & Reporting:

• Manage and maintain a video asset library, organizing raw footage, edited videos, and assets for easy access and future use.
• Monitor the performance of video ads and collaborate with internal teams to improve results by providing insights and recommendations.

Innovation:

• Use creativity and innovation to propose new ideas and formats to elevate video production.
• Offer creative suggestions for video projects, focusing on visual storytelling, pacing, and overall design.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate them into video editing workflows.
• Keep up with trends in gaming and video platforms, applying relevant innovations to content creation.

Who you would be working with

• You will report directly to the Creative Agency Lead, working closely with the Marketing and User Acquisition Team.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Expertise in motion design, video editing, and video content creation.
• Extensive experience with video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design, particularly using Adobe software like Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Very good knowledge of one or more 3D software’s: Blender, 3DS Max, Maya, etc.
• General knowledge of rendering, processing and animation of 3D elements.
• An online portfolio and/or demo reel, which must be included with your application.
• Previous experience working with these engines: Unity, Unreal Engine.
• 2D skills / experience.

• Possess the ability to independently manage the entire creative process, from asset preparation to final delivery, while adhering to a creative brief.
• Capable to juggle multiple tasks with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Have a strong artistic sensibilities, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for constantly innovating and exploring new techniques.
• Willing to learn about game-engine content manipulation and have a passion for working in video games;
