A Day in the Life

As a National Field Manager reporting directly to the B2B Channel Manager within our Professional Products Division (PPD) in Bucharest, you will lead, develop, and inspire our national sales force to elevate the salon industry in Romania. You will act as a key driver of business growth, translating division and brand strategies into concrete field action plans for our direct salon network. By spending active time on the ground and fostering close collaboration between field and headquarters, you will ensure operational excellence, maximize brand visibility, and achieve ambitious commercial targets.

• National Sales Force Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, coach, and motivate the national team of Sales Representatives and Business Partners. Manage performance, design bonus schemes, recruit talent, and implement tailored development or performance improvement plans. Ensure the team completes mandatory learning curricula while aligning with internal norms and regulations.
• Commercial Strategy & Channel Execution: Build and execute field action plans for direct salons. Set qualitative and quantitative regional targets (turnover, launches, assortment, space, visibility, promotional animations) and monitor national and regional agreements in strict line with selective distribution policies.
• HQ-Field Bridge & Market Intelligence: Collaborate closely with Trade Marketing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance & Account Management to accelerate sales and deliver the annual division plan. Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities, proactively sharing insights with office teams to optimize brand visibility.
• Budgeting, Analytics & Reporting: Manage field operations budgets, optimizing resource allocation based on business priorities. Analyze field effectiveness data to drive continuous improvement, monitor team KPIs, and ensure accurate, highly detailed, and timely reporting.

We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, excellent analytical capabilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset. They are a natural relationship-builder who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to take real responsibility to drive business transformation.

• Commercial Experience & Leadership: A university degree (ideally in Marketing, Commerce, or a related field) with a minimum of 4 years of proven experience in sales and a minimum of 3 years of experience in direct team management, with a strong focus on coaching and motivating sales teams.
• Strategic & Financial Acumen: Strong capability in strategic thinking with a deep understanding of P&L metrics, turnover, and profit optimization. Ability to interpret complex market data (sell-in/sell-out, market share) and translate it into robust sales plans.
• Negotiation & Client Relationship: Success in leading win-win negotiations, establishing priorities, and building trust-based partnerships with salons. Ability to engage and educate clients through storytelling, context sharing, and presenting business opportunities.
• Digital & Omnichannel Awareness: Understanding of digital shelf management, online activation, and the online consumer journey to help salons leverage digital, marketing, and educational resources.
• Collaboration & Agility: Strong interpersonal skills to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority, manage projects, and operate autonomously with high discipline in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excel & PowerPoint: Advanced proficiency level.
• English: B2 level (written and spoken).
• Travel: Availability for professional travel at national level.
• Driving License: Valid driving license for at least 2 years.
