Senior Data Scientist - Process Automation (f/m/x)

Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.

The team is made up of enthusiastic professionals who work in an international environment, learning new technologies as part of Deutsche Bank’s businesses.

Skills and Responsibilities:

- Experience 6 years+ with ML Models, AI Frameworks

• Reflex Models - Supervised Learning/ Unsupervised Learning Methods for Regression and Classification; Gradient Boosting Models (LightGBM, XGBoost), Deep Learning Architectures with Neural Networks (ConvNets, Attention Models - Transformers, Recurrent Layers - GRU, LSTM)
• State Based Models - Markov Decision Process - Reinforcement Learning and Deep Reinforcement Learning
• Variable Based Models - Constraint Satisfaction Problem - Large Scale Optimization Methods with Non Linear Programming and Mixed Integer Linear Programming
• Advanced Topics: Meta Learning and Multi Task Learning, Transfer Learning, NLP, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Fine Tuning and Few Shot Learning

- Software Development and Data Science with Python:

• Microservices Arhitecture and Environment: Flask, Django, FastAPI with Design Patterns and Security Frameworks - CI/CD with Jenkins/Teamcity and Kubernetes/Docker Platform.
• Python data science and ML Libraries: scikit-learn, pytorch, keras, tensorflow, transformers, scipy, numpy, pandas, h5py, hyperopt, pyomo, ipopt, rlutil, lightgbm.
• nice to have: mamba-ssm, huggingface, langchain, Cloud Expertise - Google Cloud (AI Workbench), Azure or Amazon.

- Workflow Automation expertise with Camunda or any other Workflow Tool

- Mathematics, Statistics and Optimization Methods:

• Calculus, chain rule/hessian vector product for gradient based optimization
• Liniar Algebra, matrix/vector notation and operations
• Optimization Methods, derivative free vs gradient update methods
• Statistical Tests
• Probability Theory - basic probability distributions (Continuous, Gaussian, Bernoulli, etc.) and be able to define concepts for both continuous and discrete random variables: expectation, independence, probability distribution functions, and cumulative distribution functions.
