JavaScript Architect

Role Summary:

As a JavaScript Architect at Eeze Ltd, you will define, own, and drive the high-level technical vision of our front-end ecosystem across multiple products, platforms, and teams in the gaming industry. You will collaborate closely with JavaScript Tech Leads, Product Owners, the Head of Engineering, and the CTO to ensure our architecture, technology stack, and development practices are modern, scalable, and aligned with long-term business goals.

You will act as the primary point of contact for all high-level front-end technical discussions, designs, and decisions, working outside the day-to-day sprint delivery while maintaining deep, hands-on technical expertise. Your role is to design robust, performant, and maintainable architectures, guide development workflows, and ensure that all front-end applications and games meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

This is a senior-level role for an engineer with exceptional technical depth, proven architectural experience, and strong leadership in shaping large-scale front-end systems - ideally with a background in gaming or iGaming.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Define, maintain, and evolve the overarching front-end architecture, ensuring modularity, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with JavaScript Tech Leads to translate the architectural vision into actionable plans and ensure consistent execution across teams.
• Act as the company-wide point of contact for front-end technical strategy, design decisions, and high-impact features.
• Partner with Product Owners to provide accurate technical estimations, development plans, risk assessments, and documentation for large-scale initiatives.
• Work with the Head of Engineering and CTO to align architecture, practices, and tooling with business and long-term technical goals.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, patterns, and frameworks that improve efficiency, quality, and developer experience.
• Establish and refine coding standards, workflows, and architectural guidelines to ensure consistency across multiple teams and projects.
• Perform architecture reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are met.
• Drive innovation and experimentation while balancing the need for stability and maintainability.

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of professional experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development, including 3+ years in an architect or principal engineer role.
• Proven track record in designing complex, large-scale front-end architectures (monorepos, module federation, dynamic configuration, micro-frontends).
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, state management libraries (Redux, Zustand), and modern build tools (Vite, ESBuild).
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles (SOLID, DRY, YAGNI) and functional programming paradigms.
• Experience leading cross-team technical initiatives and aligning multiple stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of articulating architectural concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• In-depth knowledge of version control and CI/CD workflows (Git, GitLab).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Nice To Have:

• Experience in the iGaming or gaming industries.
• Familiarity with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, SSE), binary data handling, and video stream synchronization.
