Service Order Administrator with German

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, managing service orders from receipt through completion while ensuring a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support order execution, resolve customer inquiries, and help deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role combines customer engagement, order management, problem-solving, and process coordination in a dynamic, collaborative environment.  In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and serve as a primary point of contact for service order-related inquiries.
• Review customer orders for accuracy and ensure timely and complete processing within business systems. 
• Enter and maintain customer order information in CRM and ERP systems while ensuring data quality and accuracy. 
• Validate commercial, compliance, and order documentation requirements and coordinate resolution of any discrepancies. 
• Coordinate with internal teams to support scheduling, purchasing activities, service requirements, inspections, training, and delivery milestones.
• Monitor order progress, expedite activities when needed, and communicate updates proactively to customers and stakeholders. 
• Support invoicing activities and contribute to the successful completion of customer orders. 
• Take ownership of customer concerns, disputes, and service-related issues, working collaboratively to achieve timely resolutions.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and order logs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal partners to deliver a consistent, high-quality customer experience. 
• Adhere to Emerson's ethics, compliance, and corporate standards in all activities.

• Experience supporting customers, managing orders, coordinating services, or performing similar administrative or operational responsibilities. 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders. 
• Professional proficiency in English and German. 
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, and work in a structured and organized manner. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn business systems and processes. 
• Commitment to collaboration, integrity, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. 

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience working in an order management, customer service, order execution, or customer-facing environment.
• Familiarity with ERP, MRP, CRM, or similar business systems. 
• Knowledge of service operations, order fulfillment, invoicing, or supply chain processes. 
• Experience collaborating with geographically dispersed or remote teams.
