This role is remote from anywhere in Europe, although we have a preference for Portugal, Ukraine or Romania.

The Opportunity

As we continue to grow, we seek a dynamic and experienced Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working in small, agile product teams. You'll be surrounded by smart, ambitious, and awesome coworkers who value focus time and getting things done. We leverage a state-of-the-art tech stack including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, React, NodeJS, GraphQL, Cypress, Jest, AWS, and Docker to build amazing products.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and ship user-facing features with React and TypeScript, delivering clean, maintainable code that follows modern component patterns and accessibility guidelines.

• Build responsive UIs and collaborate closely with designers to translate Figma mock-ups into production-ready experiences.

• Integrate frontend applications with backend services, defining clear data contracts and error-handling conventions that keep the UX seamless.

• Develop and maintain services using Node.js and other modern frameworks.

• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.

• Build and own microservices and REST APIs, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and maintainable.

• Implement and optimize REST API Gateway, GraphQL, and other relevant technologies to enhance application performance and scalability within the AWS environment.

• Utilize Docker for containerization to ensure scalability and reliability of backend services.

• Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy and manage backend services on AWS.

• Continuously evaluate and improve our backend development processes and frameworks.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in backend development, applying best practices to our processes.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
