Frontend Engineer - React / Next.js (Contract)

Accessibility isn't a checkbox on this one, it's the point. We're hiring a Frontend Engineer to build customer-facing interfaces for a large regulated UK organisation, where the people using them include those who depend on the service working properly. React, Next and TypeScript, built to a genuinely high bar.
What you'll do:Build accessible, high-quality interfaces in React, Next.js and TypeScript.
Ship through Vercel and manage content with Contentful.
Work closely with design to get the details right.
Hold a high bar for accessibility across everything you build.
What we're looking for:
Strong React, Next.js and TypeScript.
Experience with Vercel and a headless CMS, Contentful ideally.
A real understanding of web accessibility and WCAG.
Care for performance and usability, not just shipping features.
Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot as part of your everyday workflow.
Bonus points for experience building for users with a wide range of access needs.
