Payroll Specialist

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and proactive  Payroll Specialist  to join our dynamic and innovative team.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees accurately and on time;
• Calculate wages, deductions, and adjustments;
• Enter payroll data into the payroll system and verify accuracy;
• Review and reconcile payroll reports for discrepancies;
• Process and distribute employee paychecks or direct deposits;
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation;
•   Schedule and process supplemental payrolls and on-demand payments, as required;
•   Maintain relationships with third-party service providers;
•   Provide reports as requested by internal managers;
•   Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting closes by providing related payroll information.

Requirements:

•   Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred;
•   Prior experience in accounting preferred;
•   Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
•   Experience with automated accounting programs and systems;
•   Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook);
•   Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data;
•   Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem solving skills;
•   Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
