We are currently hiring for multiple tech teams that are paving the future of Amazon. MENTORING/CAREER GROWTH
As a software engineer, you will continue learning, you will be involved in the hiring process, you will contribute to the development of your colleagues as a mentor and you will be an onboarding buddy for the new joiners. You will have access to our mentorship program where you can find a tenured Amazonian to guide you and to coach you in developing the areas you want to focus on. You will own your career development in partnership with the Software Development Manager, and you will partner in finding the right balance between delivering results and proving you can operate at the next level.

Key job responsibilities
- Design, implementation, and delivery of software in ambiguous and complex problem spaces (at the team level). Trade-offs, you will work on complex problems but your solutions must be as simple as possible.
- Work backwards from customer needs into improvements, features and new components for the platform
- Influence on your team technical and business strategy.
- Contribute in identifying and solving software deficiencies or areas where your team's software bottlenecks the innovation.
- Think in terms of architecture, not just code.
- Think through functional, technical, security, performance, and scaling requirements.
- Explore and learn AWS technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency.
- Ability to resolve the root cause of complex problems, leaving software better and easier to maintain.

Basic qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
