SAP Internal Controls Specialist

A Snapshot of Your Day

You are part of the Internal Control Corporate team, which is responsible for the effectiveness of the internal control system at Siemens Energy. As Young RIC Professional you are daily involved in driving together with the Global Process Owners the automation and digitalization of controls especially in S/4 Hana. You act as consultant with a deep Internal Control methodology knowledge to help to identify and implement automated key controls in the IT systems of Siemens Energy. Opportunities for process improvement you are addressing proactively with your Global Process owner counterparts and within the Internal Control team. To apply the developed automated controls, you are responsible for an operative entity.

This position reports to Siemens Energy Head of Internal Control Corporate.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Support SAP S/4 Hana implementation by developing sound control objectives with the respective Global Process Owner and taking advantage of SAP automated features. Ensure control automation and rationalization within the project.
• Deliver projects such as control harmonization, improvement and automation initiatives and support processes or business model changes.
• Drive process and control changes by working with global process owners to gain efficiencies and to improve the control environment.
• Ensure appropriate level of communication is maintained on Internal Control matters to support the framework and ensure appropriate ownership and accountabilities.
• Create the relationship and partner with relevant Global Process Owners across the company.
• Ensure timely and correct internal control system for an operative entity

What You Bring

• Master's degree in business administration, business informatics, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA
• Expertise in internal control concepts (e.g. SOX, COSO, etc.) including general IT controls and experience in applying them throughout various business processes. Experience in executing in executing a GRC program for a multinational corporation is a plus.
• Proven record of implementing IT embedded solutions and automations to reduce manual controls and improve the efficiency of internal control operations.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to motivate, influence and negotiate. Fluent language skills in Romanian as well as Englich are a must. German language skills would be a plus.
• Self-motivated, able to manage change, and able to work under tight deadlines describe you best.
