Position: IT Administrator

What We’re Looking For 

Availability: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or part time (negotiable) 

English Proficiency: Level B2 or higher (must be able to communicate fluently in English) 

Education and experience: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. SharePoint Administration 

• Configure, manage, and maintain SharePoint Online (or on-premises) sites, permissions and document libraries. 

• Implement information architecture, metadata, and content types to improve document management and collaboration. 

• Manage user access, site collections, and sharing settings in alignment with security policies. 

• Provide end-user training and support for SharePoint workflows, lists, and basic customizations. 

• Monitor storage, performance, and backup/recovery of SharePoint data. 

2. Network Management 

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN, VPNs, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. 

• Monitor network performance, availability, and latency using tools like PRTG, SolarWinds, or Wireshark. 

• Troubleshoot connectivity issues for on-premises and remote users. 

• Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN segmentation. 

• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for circuit maintenance and upgrades. 

3. Remote Support 

• Provide technical support to on-site and remote employees via ticketing system, chat, phone, or remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or built-in RMM tools). 

• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals for remote workers. 

• Ensure seamless access to corporate resources (file shares, email, applications) via secure VPN connections. 

• Document recurring issues and create self-help knowledge base articles. 

4. Cybersecurity 

• Implement and monitor endpoint protection (antivirus), patch management, and device compliance. 

• Manage identity and access controls (MFA, conditional access policies) in Microsoft 365 / Entra ID. 

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, system audits, and log reviews. 

• Respond to security incidents (phishing alerts, malware, unauthorized access) per IR plan. 

• Develop and enforce security policies (password, data handling, acceptable use) and conduct employee security awareness training. 

• Ensure backup and disaster recovery processes are tested and compliant with relevant standards.
