Cloud & Devops Consulting Manager

Tremend is looking for a Cloud & Devops Consulting Manager to join our team of bright thinkers and doers. You will drive consulting phases for large-scale engagements related to Cloud & DevOps. Your role will be pivotal in delivering clients’ business outcomes and defining future/evolutionary architecture, such as distributed enterprise-scale cloud-native solutions & products.

Your Impact:

• Re-architect client monoliths into highly robust, scalable microservices-based digital platforms
• Contribute towards building best-in-class engineering practices & initiatives, mentor, and inspire a diverse and highly motivated engineering talent
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills, acting as a consultative partner to clients, effectively conveying complex technical concepts to a varied audience
• Demonstrate a strong presales acumen, with significant experience in preparing and presenting commercial offers, and a proven track record of winning bids and contracts
• Maintain a hands-on approach, with a strong foundation in coding and architectural design, while focusing less on people management aspects.

Your Skills & Experience:

• Extensive experience in defining end-to-end enterprise architecture.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale, complex, and distributed applications development of Cloud-native solutions (at least two of AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI)
• Develop robust, resilient architecture patterns and implement them in various projects
• Deep understanding of Cloud service offerings, including disaster management design for platform/application services
• Enable business stakeholders with the benefits of Cloud adoption, build detailed cloud solution architecture, including a cost forecast
• Ensure a seamless experience for clients by understanding their needs, addressing inquiries, and providing expert guidance
• Strong presales experience, including preparing technical documentation, contributing to RFP responses, and successfully implementing at least two of them
• Excellent knowledge of software design/architectural concepts like Event-driven Architecture, Microservices, Domain-driven design, SOLID, DRY, SoC, etc.
• Proficiency in containers and building container-based platforms using Docker, GKE, AKS, etc.
• DevOps/automation experience (IaC framework, CI, CD, Observability, Aggregated Logging & Engineering Metrics)
• Establish troubleshooting procedures to quickly identify and resolve issues in project environments.

Set Yourself Apart With: 

• Strong consulting experience and communication skills, with the ability to manage senior client-side stakeholders and build client advocates
• Experienced in agile-based delivery across the entire SDLC, including managing agile ceremonies and practices
• Ability to navigate the unknown, lead from the front in structuring work, and drive solution options and estimations at different RFP stages
• Willingness to travel and temporarily relocate based on business needs and project requirements
• Proven track record in delivering end-to-end outcomes for clients, from ideation to value realization
• Proficiency in French or German is a plus.
