Senior Consultant AWS Data Engineer (f/m/d)

• You will design, build, implement and deliver scalable AWS Cloud solutions
• You will collaborate with both business and IT partners from the automotive industry and beyond to efficiently translate business needs to technical specifications
• You will engage in client-facing projects to design, execute and implement backend data solution
• You will be a trusted advisor for our growing team, contributing to the development strategy and project leadership
• You will mentor less senior colleagues and act as a subject matter expert

Must haves:

• Strong experience in Python (Pandas, Numpy), PySpark and AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis, Athena, Redshift and AWS CDK and TypeScript as infrastructure definition language)
• Relevant experience in developing data ingestion pipelines in working with AWS Glue
• Relevant programming experience and knowledge of fully distributed systems
• Proven experience in optimizing data models concerning partitions, sorting and other performance-critical table properties
• Basic knowledge of data science (statistics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning)
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience in the design and implementation of data models
• Stakeholder management skills, very good communication skills

Things to know before departure: 

• Start: by arrangement -  always on the 1st and 15th of the month
• Working hours:  full-time ( 40h); 27 vacation days
