Strategic Purchases is a critical function within the Product Supply organization, managing expenditures on items ranging from raw and packaging materials to marketing services and outsourced manufacturing. As a Purchasing Manager , you will serve as the commercial leader at the forefront of all supply chain and strategic sourcing activities, managing P&G’s expenditure and bringing external insights into the company. You will connect with a variety of industries and stakeholders to drive success.

Compensation details:  for this role the  monthly starting salary is 12.900 RON Gross. We consistently benchmark our salaries against top competitors and every P&G employee’s salary is reviewed at least annually so there is ample room for growth.   In addition to this , you will receive  a 13th salary once per year and a vacation bonus.

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for:

1. Procurement Strategy Development:

• Develop a deep understanding of market dynamics and industry trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Create and elaborate sourcing strategies that align with business goals, including sustainability and cost management.
• Identify and recommend new technologies and innovative solutions to enhance sourcing efficiency.

2. Procurement Strategy Execution:

• Lead the execution of sourcing plans to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Negotiate best-value deals with suppliers to meet the company's business needs.
• Innovate solutions to optimize procurement processes and effectively tackle challenges.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to foster mutual growth and success.

3. Supply Base Management :

• Develop a sustainable supply base that upholds quality and ethical standards.
• Oversee efficient material procurement strategies to support production needs.

4. Collaboration and Leadership:

• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to get results.
• Influence stakeholders internally and externally to achieve outstanding outcomes.
• Treat suppliers honestly and ethically, fostering partnerships in delivering quality products.

Job Qualifications

• Minimum final year of studies in Bachelor Degree.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written . Other language skill is a bonus.
• Strong interest in commercial business aspects.
• Passion for learning and applying skills to achieve business results.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to connect the dots.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
