Position Overview

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

Global Procurement provides support of Deutsche Bank’s business divisions globally. You will engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements, develop sourcing strategies and plans, and execute sourcing events (e.g. RFPs) to create value for the Bank. You will a member of the Banking Services category management team supporting Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, Asset Management, and Infrastructure divisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of annual and medium-term strategic plans. Identify specific sourcing projects/initiatives for the year including expected savings, resource requirements and associated timescales for completion.
• Lead the execution and supports the development of Category-based sourcing processes for assessing and fulfilling current and future sourcing needs
• Manage complex sourcing deals, driving the supplier selection and negotiation process for key sourcing events.
• Develop strong, productive working relationships with clients at a senior level.
• Actively support knowledge management. Continually scans the category and industry environment to gather insights.

Skills

• 1-3 years of work experience
• Banking or procurement experience is highly regarded.
• Self-organised, strategic thinker as well as an “executer” with emphasis on getting things done in right quality and on time.
• Strong team player, able to work in virtual, global teams in a dual reporting matrix organization.
• Strong communication, influencing and presentation skills (written/verbal for contract negotiations)
• High energy, flexible and with the ability to work in a fast-paced and global business environment.
