Head of supplier quality assurance

We are looking for a Head of supplier quality assurance to join our Supplier Quality Department in our Satu Mare plant .

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of the incoming inspection department;               
• Evaluation of suppliers on Soft Facts;
• First line of escalation towards suppliers on complaint topics;
• Implement appropriate measures to remove defects and weaknesses and monitor their effectiveness;
• Permanent optimization (CIP) in the sense of the 0 mistakes strategy and for identifying and applying cost saving possibilities;
• Handling complaints to suppliers in case of shipment of suspicious parts or NOK;
• Responsible for all activities within the SQA team;
• Responsible for developing the skills and abilities of subordinate employees, in accordance with the needs and interests dictated by the challenges they face in their activity and using the systems and tools agreed at company level.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field;
• Minimum 2 years in automotive industry;
• Data processing and collection from QSYS, Host applications, SAP;
• Basic knowledge of quality assurance: 8D method, retraining, special features;
• Excellent English level - spoken and written;
• Experience in coordinating a team is an advantage;
• Process oriented thinking, analytical and problem solving skills, very good communication and customer orientation.
