Collection specialist

Adecco is recruiting on behalf of our client, a global leader in fire and security solutions, for a Collection Specialist position.

Qualifications / Education:

Degree in Accounting and/or Finance

Language Skills:

Fluent French is mandatory – minimum level B2 to C1

Experience:

Previous experience in collections, credit control, or accounts receivable is appreciated

Exposure to a Shared Services Center or international environment is considered a plus

The main responsibilities include in particular:

- Analyze and monitor customer balances and overdue receivables

- Manage collection actions and follow-up on customer payments

- Identify of customer disputes and notification of internal stakeholders

- Ensure the Application and follow-up of dunning and reminder processes

- Ensure the Transfer of customer cases to the Cash Manager when required

- High volume of interactions (incoming and outgoing calls/emails) with customers and internal teams (Cash Management)

- Contribute to the reduction of overdue balances and improvement of key performance indicators (DSO, overdue, disputes)

a) Technical Skills :

- Good understanding of the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle and collection processes

- Experience in analyzing and monitoring customer outstanding balances

- Ability to identify and manage customer disputes

- Ability to prioritize collection actions based on risk and business impact

- Results-oriented mindset (cash collection, overdue reduction)

- Rigorous adherence to procedures, internal controls, and Group policies
