Full-Stack Engineer (Laravel + Vue.js), UX-focused, Customer-Facing Web

Salary: 10.000 - 15.000 RON net per month Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional web development, including at least 3 years with Vue.js and 3 years with Laravel in production.
• Strong Vue 2 (Options API, single-file components) and working knowledge of Vue 3 (Composition API).
• Solid Laravel: routing, Blade, Eloquent, middleware, validation, queues, jobs and the scheduler; comfortable working in older Laravel versions and upgrading them.
• At ease with existing front-end code (Blade, jQuery, Bootstrap) alongside modern components.
• Excellent HTML, CSS and SCSS: responsive, mobile-first layouts, cross-browser work and maintainable styles in a large codebase.
• Proven experience building e-commerce or booking flows (checkout, payment integration, forms and validation) on customer-facing sites.
• Practical web performance and SEO: Core Web Vitals, caching, lazy loading, structured data.
• REST APIs, MySQL and Redis; Git, Docker and CI/CD; working knowledge of AWS.

Responsibilities:

• You will work on a high-traffic, customer-facing travel booking website where customers search, compare and book their holidays, most of them from a phone. It is a mature Laravel and Vue.js application with server-side rendering, an Elasticsearch-powered search, its own content management for landing pages and campaigns, and an integrated checkout with online payments. It generates revenue every day, so speed, clarity and reliability matter on every page.
• You will join a small, hands-on engineering team, reporting to the CTO and working closely with business, marketing and QA colleagues. Teams form around problems, decisions are quick, and our workflow is AI-assisted.
• You are the technical owner of the website and the go-to person for everything about it: what it looks like, how it works underneath and how it improves week after week.
• You will:
• Build and maintain features across the full stack: Vue components, Blade templates, SCSS, and Laravel controllers, services, jobs and scheduled tasks
• Own the booking journey (search, listings, hotel pages, checkout and payment) with particular care for conversion, correctness and reliability
• Turn designs into pixel-accurate, responsive interfaces for mobile and desktop, and propose UX improvements backed by data
• Keep the site fast and easy to find: Core Web Vitals, server-side rendering, caching, technical SEO, analytics and tag management
• Integrate with internal REST APIs, the search service and third-party services
• Modernise the codebase step by step (framework, runtime and build-tool upgrades) without disrupting sales
• Introduce and grow automated tests, code review, CI and monitoring
• Plan and run releases, and investigate and resolve production issues
• Document what you build and learn, so knowledge is shared
