Who are we looking for?

• Final-year student or fresh graduate (preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or related field)

• Basic knowledge of procurement, supply chain, logistics, or production planning processes is considered an advantage

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work with large sets of data

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability

• Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach

• Ability to work under pressure and manage urgent operational situations

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced factory environment

• Motivation to learn and grow as a professional in procurement and materials planning

• Proficient in using MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP knowledge is a strong plus

• English language proficiency

Responsabilitati / Realizari

What will you do?

• Assist in maintaining purchasing and planning conditions in SAP for production materials (e.g. MRP, Source List, PIR, material master views, pricing, and freight conditions)

• Support in analyzing Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and converting them into Purchase Orders (POs)

• Help monitor open, delayed, and unconfirmed orders to ensure data accuracy and timely supplier confirmations

• Follow up with suppliers regarding forecasts, delivery schedules, and urgent production requirements

• Support inbound material flow management to avoid production disruptions and line stoppages

• Monitor transport updates, unloading constraints, and warehouse slot management for incoming deliveries, including coordination through the Transporeon platform for booking and delivery visibility

• Assist in tracking Batch Release status for critical production materials and follow up with Quality teams and suppliers when needed

• Support complaint resolution related to production materials (quality claims, NCRs, corrective actions, Credit Notes follow-up)

• Help coordinate import-related documentation for all materials (Delivery Notes, invoices, transport documents, customs support)

• Assist in supplier performance evaluation regarding service level, lead time compliance, responsiveness, and reliability

• Support cost control activities including supplier quotations, price updates, invoice validations, and procurement reporting. Support preparation of Price Estimates for PLM projects.

• Work closely with internal departments (Planning, Production, Quality, Warehouse, Finance, Logistics) and external partners (suppliers, transport providers)

• Contribute to sustainability and compliance initiatives, including supplier documentation and regulatory support (e.g. EUDR where applicable)

Commitment:

Full time program: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, working schedule 08:00-16:30
Period: July 1 – September 30, 2026
Location: on-site
JTI Manufacturing : Bucharest, Dimitrie Pompei 9-9A.
