Siemens NX Developer

Job Description

We are currently looking for an Siemens NX Developer consultant for one of our international client.

Details:

Role: Siemens NX Developer

Location: Remote from Romania

Start: 01/11/2024

Duration: 1 year, possibility of extension.

Scope:

Your day-to-day activities will involve:

Design and implement Siemens NX-based solutions, including customization, automation, and process optimization.

Work on the integration of Siemens NX with other PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, 3DEXPERIENCE) to ensure seamless data flow and collaboration.

Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and technical support to internal teams and clients, resolving issues in a timely manner.

Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Identify areas for improvement in existing Siemens NX environments and implement enhancements to improve performance and user experience.

Create and maintain technical documentation related to Siemens NX configurations, customizations, and processes.

Provide training and mentorship to junior developers and end-users on Siemens NX functionalities and best practices.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Skills:

Familiarity with PLM systems, particularly Siemens Teamcenter, is a plus.
Experience in integrating NX with other enterprise systems.

Proficiency in Siemens NX CAD software and NXOpen API.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Siemens NX development and customization.

Experience with programming languages like C++, C#, VB.NET, or Python for NX customization.

Solid understanding of product design and manufacturing processes.

Prior experience in the automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industries.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

English required, German nice to have.
