You help us predict future risks while working in an agile and innovative environment.

As part of the audit engagement team, you will significantly contribute to identifying issues and defining corrective actions that will impact important business decisions across Siemens Energy. You will evaluate compliance with operational and financial guidelines and procedures, identify the root cause of critical operational or financial issues, assess the level of impact on the business, and advise Management on defined actions to mitigate and prevent identified issues in the future.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Collaborate with the engagement team to prepare for engagements.
• Analyze data to ensure that all potential risks are identified during audit planning and engage in knowledge-sharing.
• Review the audit scope, determine the work plan, and participate in the risk assessment of the client environment prior to fieldwork.
• Take full ownership and responsibility of assigned audit tasks by understanding risk and impact of observations.
• Perform the audit engagement in coordination with the Assurance Manager and use analytical skills to identify root causes of findings.
• Execute assigned sections of the work plan to identify potential issues, areas for improvement, and formulate recommended actions through review of documentation and client inquiry.
• Provide timely status updates to the Assurance Manager and Assurance Director by communicating observations, engagement risks, and potential roadblocks.
• Actively seek clarification amongst team members on engagement task requirements, processes, controls, and technical matters as needed.
• Prepare and finalize working papers for discussion with the Assurance Manager.
• Draft initial sections of the audit report and participate in discussions with management.
• Conclude and document audit observations and derive suitable recommendations.
• Act as a change agent by participating in forward-looking projects that provide assurance for critical business matters.

What You Bring

• Strong past performance in academics (finance, IT, business, engineering, legal, mathematics, or others; CPA, MBA, or Data Analytics Master education desirable but not mandatory)
• 5+ years of experience (???hot skill') in at least one of the following or similar areas: Accounting, Data Analytics, Technology & Innovation, Project Management, Supply Chain Management. Legal & Compliance or Strategy
• Experience within a Big 4 accounting firm mandatory.
• Desire and potential to develop into future leadership roles within Siemens Energy as your next career step.
• Commitment to continuous learning and to global travel up to 30%.
• Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is a prerequisite.
