.NET Backend Developer

Overview

We are looking for Senior .NET Backend Developers to work on a financial platform developed together with one of the largest banking institutions in Romania.

Your Profile

• Academic qualification in a technical field (IT or similar)
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant software development experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Strong analytical and synthetical skills
• Awareness of software vulnerabilities and a security-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn and team-oriented attitude

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work with attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills coupled with excellent communication skills
• Customer centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services
• Experience with financial-banking projects is a plus

Technologies & Tools

• Strong experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles and software design patterns
• Practical experience in designing, developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures

• Solid expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), including database design, query optimization and performance tuning
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and automated testing practices to ensure code quality and reliability
• Hands-on experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines

Your Role

• Design, develop and implement scalable backend solutions and services using .NET technologies
• Create, maintain and update technical documentation, including API specifications, solution designs, implementation details and operational guides
• Analyze business and technical requirements, translating them into robust, maintainable and high-quality software solutions
• Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs and system integration components
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, development best practices and quality assurance guidelines

• Perform code reviews, provide constructive technical feedback and actively participate in engineering discussions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features
• Support integration testing, troubleshoot issues across different environments and ensure timely defect resolution
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by promoting engineering best practices, process optimization and knowledge sharing within the team
