Your Impact:

As a Senior Payroll Specialist at OpenText, you will take the lead in managing end-to-end payroll processing within a given portfolio. This includes handling payroll administration tasks such as benefits, compliance, tax, and financial year-end administration. By collaborating with cross-functional teams and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, you will ensure smooth payroll operations and enhance the overall employee experience.

What the Role Offers:

• Manage full-cycle payroll processing, including payroll input/output, benefits, tax compliance, and year-end procedures.
• Support payroll-related queries from internal and external parties, including auditors.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and handle all payroll-related payment dispensations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payroll data issues and ensure accurate reporting.
• Contribute to payroll training and implement improvements to streamline operations.
• Assist in payroll risk management and identify opportunities for process improvement.

What You Need to Succeed:

• 5+ years of payroll experience, with strong knowledge in HR, finance, compliance, and compensation processes.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and data management.
• EMEA Payroll Experience Required:
  - Strong preference for experience in Nordic countries (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway).
  - Additional experience in Netherlands, Belgium, Eastern Europe (e.g., Czech Republic, Poland)
• Language Requirements : English is a must; additional languages (e.g., Dutch, Finnish, or Swedish) are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to make decisions and communicate effectively within a team.
