Senior Tax Consultant (Direct or Indirect Tax)

We are looking for Senior Tax Consultants with 3-4 years of professional experience to join one of our Indirect or Direct Tax teams. In this role, you will balance technical tax delivery with advisory responsibilities, managing engagements end-to-end while serving as a reliable partner to clients. You will play an active role in developing junior talent and contributing to the growth of our practice, while preparing yourself for new growth opportunities.

What will you do: 

• Manage day-to-day execution of client engagements.
• Prepare and review tax analyses, documentation, and client deliverables.
• Conduct detailed research on tax laws, regulations, and international guidelines.
• Lead tax compliance processes.
• Supervise and mentor junior consultants, providing technical guidance and feedback.
• Collaborate with managers in structuring transactions, advising on tax implications, and resolving complex issues.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients & tax authorities, acting as a trusted point of contact.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposals and presentations.
• Stay up to date with legislative changes and emerging trends in taxation.

What we need from you for this job: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Law, or related field.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in tax consultancy, indirect or direct tax;
• Demonstrated ability to manage client engagements and deliver accurate, timely work.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in supervising or coaching junior staff.
• Drive to grow and progress.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Native in Romanian and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
