General information

We are looking for an experienced Virtualization Expert to strengthen our IT team and ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of our virtualization environment. In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and further development of the virtualization infrastructure, as well as supporting related IT services.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Administration, monitoring, and operation of virtualization environments based on Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware;
• Provisioning, configuration, and management of virtualization infrastructure and virtual machines;
• Performing updates, patches, backups , and recovery procedures;
• Analyzing and resolving issues within the virtualization environment;
• Ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the platforms;
• Supporting the planning and execution of migrations and infrastructure projects;
• Assisting with capacity planning and optimization of existing systems and automation;
• Further development and creation of concepts for the virtual platform;
• Documenting systems, processes, and changes;
• Collaborating with internal departments and external service providers.

Your Qualifications

• Several years of experience in the administration and support of virtualization platforms;
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware;
• Experience with Microsoft Failover Clustering and high availability solutions;
• Experience with Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM);
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure;
• Knowledge of Dell hardware and firmware , including drivers, support, and updates;
• Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting of platform environments;
• Experience in 2nd-level and 3rd-level support;
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident Management, Problem Management, IT Change Management);
• Experience with reporting using Microsoft Power BI , SQL and PowerShell;
• Understanding of Microsoft System Center components, such as SCOM, SCDPM, SCO, SCSM, and MCM;
• Good knowledge of Windows Server , Active Directory, networks, and storage technologies.
