Job Overview: 

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with strong SQL, Python, data visualization expertise, and reporting engineer capabilities. The ideal candidate will analyze complex datasets, build insightful reports, and develop automated reporting solutions to drive business decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights and ensure seamless data reporting operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python to provide data-driven insights. 

• Design, develop, and maintain automated reporting solutions and dashboards using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. 

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions. 

• Create and optimize SQL queries to extract data efficiently and ensure high performance in reporting. 

• Provides support in automating data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency. 

• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to ensure data availability and quality across the organization. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies, reporting issues, and data integrity challenges. 

Desired Skills and Qualifications: 

• Proficiency in SQL: Strong ability to write and optimize complex queries to retrieve and manipulate data from relational databases. 

• Python Expertise: Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and scripting for automation. 

• Data Visualization: Hands-on experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or other visualization platforms to build dynamic dashboards and visual reports. 

• ETL/Reporting Engineering Skills: Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and experience in designing automated reporting systems. 

• Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modeling concepts and best practices for building scalable and maintainable reporting solutions. 

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to break down complex business problems and design data solutions that address key challenges. 

• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on data accuracy, quality control, and troubleshooting to ensure the reliability of reports. 

• Business Acumen: Ability to work with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and how data analysis can inform decision-making. 

• Familiarity with Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud data warehouses such as AWS Redshift or Snowflake is a plus. 

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

Education and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field. 

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Reporting Engineer. 

• Proven track record of working with large datasets and building reporting solutions that drive business value.
