Junior Business Analyst - Trade Finance Operations

A Snapshot of Your Day

As Junior Business Analyst, you act as first-level support to our internal customers for inquiries on our Trade Finance Management Tool and general guarantee-related questions.

How You'll Make an Impact

• You will be responsible for user management, master data maintenance and system configuration including the associated controls.
• You ensure data quality, perform consistency checks and plan and execute data cleansing initiatives
• You will actively contribute from the business side in the implementation of a Trade Finance relevant IT projects; inter alia you will support testing, data migration and the global roll-out.
• You contribute to the digitalization and automation of repetitive routine processes and develop, implement and maintain software solutions (e.g. chatbot, robotics process automation, data analytic tools) that increase efficiency and improve our internal customer experience.
• You closely collaborate with our global guarantee departments and act as an interface to towards the IT department.
• You learn about Trade Finance, assist in the preparation and maintenance of training materials and working instructions.

What You Bring

• You have completed a university degree in informatics, business administration, finance.
• You have a very good understanding of and high affinity for IT technologies and system administration.
• You have gathered first professional experience in one of the above-mentioned areas; initial experience in client support or IT projects is a plus.
• You enjoy expanding your knowledge and are interested to learn more about Trade Finance; previous knowledge about Treasury, Trade Finance, Corporate Finance or Banking is a plus.
• You have very good knowledge of Excel. Business intelligence software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), Programming skills (e.g. Visual Basic, Python) and knowledge about Robotics Process Automation would be a plus.
• You are business fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus
