We are looking for an exceptional Senior L2 Network Engineer.  For this position you should be able to check the following:

• Strong understanding of hardware and transmission technologies (e.g., cabling, optical fiber, WAN, and transport, etc.) as well as and comprehension of the TCP/IP model and their usage principles

• Expert level knowledge of Networking Protocols and Technologies (Ethernet, BGP, OSPF, HW, QoS etc.) and are familiar with Linux.

• Network services like DNS, DHCP, NTP, SYSLOG, SNMP

• Wi-Fi technologies from vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, and understanding of wireless standards (802.11ac/ax);

• protocol debugging using tools like Wireshark, tcpdump
  Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Aruba training & valid certifications are highly valued.

A day in the life of a Senior L2 Network Engineer:

• Addressing network escalations, conducting troubleshooting, fault analysis and repairing as well as providing technical leadership during major incidents and strive quickly resolve complex network incidents

• Interfacing with existing relevant departments to ensure optimal service and network performance

• Improving current processes and workflows

• Influencing the strategies of peer teams ensuring that their strategic plans are in alignment with the technical direction of Network Operations strategy and architecture

• Design, implement, and maintain network security systems to protect organizational data and infrastructure

• Deploy, configure and manage ︁︀​︂︃︃​︉︉​︁︂︈next-gen firewalls; Manage Cisco switches

• Configure and monitor virtual private networks (IPSEC and SSL), IDS/IPS, and other security tools

• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations ( ISO )
