Project Manager Procurement (m/f/d)

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Planning, coordinating and managing procurement projects throughout the entire project lifecycle
• Coordinating sourcing activities to ensure timely availability of materials and services for projects and production
• Managing project-related procurement activities in close cooperation with Engineering, Operations, Logistics and Quality departments
• Monitoring project schedules, procurement milestones, budgets and supplier performance
• Supporting supplier selection, evaluation and contract implementation in accordance with company requirements
• Identifying procurement risks and implementing appropriate mitigation measures
• Monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring timely escalation of supply chain issues
• Preparing project status reports, procurement analyses and proposals for corrective actions
• Coordinating project meetings with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Ensuring compliance with company procurement procedures, contractual requirements and applicable regulations

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

• Successfully completed degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a comparable field of study
• Several years (4-6 years) of professional experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing or Project Procurement, preferably in manufacturing, automotive or defense industry
• Good understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and contract administration
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP experience is considered an advantage)
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Independent and self-reliant way of working
• Willingness to business travel
• Very good knowledge of written and spoken English and Romanian; German language skills are considered an advantage
