Senior SAP AM - FI Application Specialist (RO)

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable and high-quality Application Management (AM) services for SAP FI modules in both S/4HANA and SAP R/3 environments, supporting multiple international customers.

• Provide application support and customization for SAP Finance processes, including General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable(FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR) and Asset Accounting (FI-AA).

• Analyze and implement customer-specific requirements in coordination with their finance teams.

• Ensure seamless integration with related modules (MM, SD, CO) across customer landscapes.

• Perform system checks, troubleshooting, and quality assurance for hosted systems.

• Support customers during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

• Act as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for customer key users.

• Document changes, processes, and provide clear communication to customers.

• Willing/motivated to be SAP certified (continuously)

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, or equivalent qualification.

• Several years of hands-on experience in SAP FI Application Management, ideally in both S/4HANA and SAP R/3 environments.

• Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting standards (HGB, IFRS).

• Experience in SAP customizing and ideally basic ABAP knowledge.

• Ability to understand and translate customer business processes into system solutions.

• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SAP CO module.

• Experience with S/4HANA Finance and migration projects.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management.

• Understanding of interfaces (IDoc, ALE) in multi-system landscapes.
