DevOps / Platform Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to design, automate, secure, and operate modern infrastructure and deployment platforms. You will be responsible for CI/CD automation, containerized environments, observability, API gateway management, and Linux-based systems, helping ensure reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency across the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

• Develop automation tools and scripts using Bash and Python.

• Manage Linux servers, system services, patching, access controls, and operational security.

• Build and support containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Configure and maintain KrakenD API Gateway, including routing, authentication, and traffic management.

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and the Elastic Stack (ELK).

• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes, platform reliability, and operational standards.

• Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

• Maintain infrastructure documentation and contribute to platform best practices.

Required Skills:

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, including pipelines, runners, and environments.

• Strong Linux administration skills (Ubuntu/RHEL).

• Proficiency in Bash and/or Python scripting.

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

• Understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring, and automation practices.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Kubernetes and Helm

• Terraform and/or Ansible

• Nginx and/or HAProxy

• Prometheus, Grafana, and Elastic Stack (ELK)

• GitLab Registry and artifact management

• OpenTelemetry and Jaeger

• Keycloak and LDAP integrations

• MinIO object storage

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

• KrakenD API Gateway

Experience & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.

• Experience supporting cloud-native and distributed systems.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
