Sr Expert Process Engineer Operations

• Analyse existing facilities in OMV Petrom Upstream and propose improvements, de-bottlenecking, upgrades to efficiently decrease operations costs and enhance productivity/efficiency of plants/equipment and process safety;
• Smart reaction and educated resolution for trouble shooting, understanding of root-causes;
• Provide specific process engineering calculations and support debottlenecking studies of surface installations and/or individual equipment and production system;
• Assess equipment which are part of running facilities in view of their fitness in regards to installed/designed capacities vs. actual & future requirement;
• Promotes and supports implementation of advanced controls into running facilities with a high level of automation in view of obtaining economic benefits via optimization of operating point without compromising on safety;
• Be part of multi-disciplinary teams for integrated production system model from the reservoir to the selling point;
• Agility to respond to external , third party and regulatory requirements/ changes (gas processes changes, demand of gas, and gas quality);
• Perform technical studies and specific audits, reports and memos;
• Support OR&A and Process Safety with process expertise during pre-startup audits or process safety audits;
• Continuously analyse opportunities for production system optimization and/or process safety improvements and propose best solution.

Your profile

• Master degree in Engineering or similar;
• Relevant professional experience: > 7 years;
• Very good knowledge of principles, strategies, working methods within operations;
• Experience in Field Management optimization projects;
• Good understanding of the whole value chain from subsurface to the delivery;
• Extended experience and knowledge of Best practices in Integrity management and Process Safety;
• Extended experience in Field Management (mature fields operations, production operations, production technologies, facility engineering, lifting of oil & gas, drilling, asset management, HSSE, managerial interrelationships, interaction with authorities, legal requirements);
• Excellent communication both verbal and written in English.
