Civil Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer - Metro Projects

Our client, an international company active in the infrastructure and construction sector, is looking for a Civil Quantity Surveyor / Estimation Engineer – Metro Projects to join their team and support the successful planning, costing, and execution of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.

 The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, experience in construction estimation, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred specializations: Tunnel/Metro Construction, Building & Structural Engineering, or Hydraulic Engineering).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Previous experience on tunnel construction projects is considered a strong advantage.
• Professional working proficiency in Romanian and English .
• Bulgarian language skills are considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of current construction regulations, standards, and technical documentation.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, work sequencing, and execution processes.
• Experience in preparing construction cost estimates and budgets.
• Experience with Gaudy or similar construction estimating software is considered an advantage.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project .
• Experience working with ERP systems and/or AI-based tools is considered an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, and professional integrity.

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BoQ) , cost estimates, analytical pricing, and commercial proposals.
• Review and verify measurement reports, construction records, and invoices for completed works.
• Prepare client payment documentation, including measurement records, construction certificates, and quality documentation for materials used.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using MS Project .
• Prepare and coordinate subcontractor agreements and related contract documentation.
• Coordinate communication with clients, designers, consultants, project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain complete project documentation in both digital and hard-copy formats, including project registers and meeting minutes.
• Research market prices, construction materials, and innovative construction technologies.
• Provide technical support to the project team and prepare cost estimates for additional or unforeseen construction works.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and project progress updates for management and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable construction regulations, company procedures, contractual requirements, and project quality standards.
