How You'll Make an Impact

• You work in an experienced and dedicated team of 7 members located in various cities and countries.
• As part of the GS BC community, you help to implement global BC standards and processes in the Regional Service Unit (RSU) Europe and Africa (such as for performance controlling, operational controlling, productivity, value flow and digitalization initiatives)
• As part of the GS BC RSU organization, you help to ensure consistent and effective regional specific processes in your RSU and help with the implementation of GS and Corporate projects and initiatives.
• You support the RSU BC business partner function to fulfill the contribution to the profit and loss responsibility of the GS Execution Units Central & Distributed and the Independently Managed Businesses (IMB) CP and STG, by providing transparent actuals, reliable forecasts and high-quality budgets.
• You drive the regional monthly Forecast of Profit and Loss, Net Capital Employed and Free Cash Flow to the RSU and Execution Unit management and ensure its accuracy and manage the interface between regional companies and the HQ functions to optimize the overall business profitability and transparency.
• You analyze complex financial data and determine the reasons for deviations from monthly and annual plans and forecasts including comments on current and future performance.
• You support the RSU BC EU&AF Management by preparing Monthly Operating Reviews with Execution Unit Management and Quarterly Reviews with BA Management, with a main focus on financials and key performance indicators.
• You ensure the timely and qualitative completion of submissions in various reporting packages (Esprit, Focus, etc.) and help to prepare status reviews and management presentations based on corporate timelines and drive digitalization and Reporting / Controlling enhancements.

What You Bring

• University degree in the i��eld of Finance or comparable (such as Siemens commercial apprenticeship with long-term experience) with a long term, deep experience in Business Controlling or Finance, especially closing and forecasting activities.
• Experience in Finance / BC, Sales or Project Management with one of the GS Execution Units Central or Distributed is preferred with basic understanding of the underlying business models and technical Siemens Energy products and solutions.
• Experience in SAP and Siemens reporting tools (e.g. Esprit, Focus, SAC, Dash) and in data analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, think-cell etc.) is beneficial.
• Business i�?uent in English, advanced analytic skills for financial KPI and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint with experience in preparing presentations for upper management level.
• High motivation in complex and fast changing situations and experience in work & communication across cross-disciplinary and international teams, with advanced influencing and persuasion skills and the ability to present to upper management level and for conceptual work and self-management of own tasks and related resources by sound project management.
