Our IT team uses IT solutions to optimize all processes relating to sales at our HORNBACH stores and enables store employees to offer our customers the best possible shopping experience. YOUR TASKS

• In this role, you see yourself as a translator between the specialist department and software development. You will advise our internal customers on their projects for the introduction and further development of various IT systems in relation to sales processes, e.g. quotation, customer order, payment, invoice, returns, etc.
• You will develop technical concepts (incl. authorizations, interfaces, integration of existing systems) and take on coordinative tasks from the idea/preliminary analysis to commissioning. You will also provide support with process modeling.
• The implementation of system settings (customizing/parameterization/translation) is also part of your area of responsibility.
• In addition, you will ensure that ongoing operations are properly supported (incident & problem management, 2nd and 3rd level support).

REQUIREMENTS

• Your experience in the SAP project environment is more important to us than your degree course.
• Customer-oriented ordering processes and inventory management, including relevant master data, have already been part of your projects. Ideally, you are no stranger to the SAP retail environment.
• You not only know how to professionally advise and convince our internal customers through precise communication of technical issues, but also how to advance the team with your expertise.
• In addition to knowledge of SAP SD, you ideally have some experience with REST interfaces.

• Ensures high software quality by adhering to and continuously improving principles, standards, documentation and processes
• Ensures transparent and recipient-oriented communication between the team, the departments and technology
• Guarantees safe, high-performance, stable and efficient software solutions through the appropriate technical and methodological competence

WORKING MODE

• 8 hours a day, flexible working schedule.
• Remote working mode with 1-4 days/month – face to face meetings
