Senior Associate - Tax Litigation | Reff & Associates

Who we are looking for

• Fully qualified lawyer member of the Bar;
• Experience in litigation (experience in tax litigation is a plus);
• Sound legal reasoning, thoroughness, very good legal writing skills;
• Fluency in written/spoken English is a must, any other foreign language is an advantage;

About the team

In our Tax controversy and Tax litigation practice, our combined tax and legal expertise allows us to defend our clients’ interest in the most complex cases regarding VAT, excise duties, corporate income tax, transfer pricing adjustments, personal income tax, environmental, claw-back tax and other tax related issues, such as permanent establishment adjustments, Double Taxation treaties adjustments and Arbitration under Multilateral Convention and EU Directive 2017/1852 on tax dispute resolution mechanisms.

Our joint team of tax and legal professionals assists the clients from the initial stages of a tax or antifraud audit, covering both the legal and tax matters of the case. We are focused on innovation and are constantly taking the cases right up to the Court of Justice of the European Union, European Court of Human Rights, European Commission in infringement cases, as well as international arbitration proceedings regarding taxation matters.
