We’re a young company operating on a global scale, which makes us all the more proud of the award winning culture we’ve fostered across our global operations.

For the past three years we received the prestigious recognition of being a Global Top Employer, and in 2017 we secured the number one spot in Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East. This doesn’t just mean we craft the best possible offices and factories (though we put a lot of work into doing just that); it means we strive for excellence together and we achieve great things together.

We do this by focusing on the long-term and celebrating our diversity. Fresh thinking and new ideas inspire us to innovate. Sometimes it’s the big ideas that drive change, but often it’s the small, everyday ideas that make the biggest difference. We call this Kaizen – the spirit of continuous improvement imparted through our Japanese heritage.

We were formed in 1999 when our parent company JT Group acquired the non US operations of R.J. Reynolds. In 2007 we acquired UK based Gallaher, doubling our size and adding 11,000 new employees.

Today we’re even bigger, with a diverse employee base driving our success all over the world. Our mission is to nurture our internationally recognized brand roster while leading the way in next generation products and new ways of doing business.
